swopermans	I have 4 small children and have recently been finding maggots in my kitchen. I have no clue hwere they are coming from. They atarted out on my cieling. I had my husband serch my attic for something dead but he found nothing. Today I found a ton of them on the floor. i dont know where they are coming from. How can I tell. I cleaned out all of my cupboards looking for something dead or rotting but I cannot find aanything. Please help!!!!!!

James	Hmmm… I have a feeling you might need to actually watch them and see which direction they’re coming from. I’ve read a few people’s comments that say they’re coming from inside the walls, but I’m not sure if that’s possible for you. Check outside. They might be coming into the light from outside through a window or under the door (like they did in my house).

swopermans	My landlord found 2 dead birds in my furnace… I dont know if its possible for them to come that far and they are only in my kitchen… today my husband found them in my tea bags. Its like they are spreading.

James	That is strange! In your TEA BAGS?! I reckon if they were by the birds, you would actually see the “trail of Maggots” from the birds to your house… I really hope you figure it out and let us know where they were coming from…

Niamhina	Tips hat Well well.. it certinly has been a while.. I have read this and I’m complety stumped. There has to be something dead and rotting around for them to feed on, and maggots can travel distance pretty quickly. They will get into anything and everything, looking for food. make sure you pick up all that you can and really bleach everything. As you can see from my previous posts, I had alot of trouble with them. But now I bleach everything in my house at least once a week and I spray my house with Home Defense. (You can get it at walmart) The kitchen is kept the cleanest, because of the obvious reasons of trash. I hope you were able to find out where they were comming from. I know it can be stressful.
