Hi everyone,
I’m desperate about my coffee machine first because there’s a leak (which is annoying but no big deal) but most of all because I keep on cleaning it and every two days I find small worms in the water under the machine and also in the container above which you put your cup. They are very small but still disgusting , I tried to clean the machine but they won’t go. I looked up on the internet to see if someone has the same problem but apparently it’s not common. I’m resigned to go and buy a new one but I’m curious about those small worms, I can’t find them on the web, does anyone know where they come from, what they are called?I thank you for your answers!!!!

Hmmm, that is very strange. Perhaps you could let it dry out completely for a few weeks before washing it again?

I can’t think of how you would get worms of any type in a coffee machine… Good luck!

I’ve got a similar problem. Every three or four day a maggot crawls out of my machine. It’s a Nespresso and it’s not possible to open it to clean the interior. I’ve contacted Nespresso support, but they’ve informed me that if they have to disinfect it, it’ll cost me more than a new coffee machine, so they suggest that I buy a new one in stead.

It’s rather expensive, however, so I was wondering if you solved you’re problem?
